The Winterhawk Ranch has around 3000 season round acres split up on several pristine properties around Seymour, Texas, that are used to hunt a variety of wild game, including free-ranging trophy whitetail deer, feral hogs and trophy boars, trophy Aoudad, Rio Grande Turkey and Migratory Ducks.
At Winterhawk Outfitters you will have a true fair chase hunt for native or exotic wildlife on about 3000 acres found on several pristine ranches around Seymour, Texas. This is not the high fence hunting you find in other parts of Texas, but true fair chase exciting hunts.
The Winterhawk Outfitters property has been managed as an 8 points or better standard for the last 8 years, which has resulted in a good population of Trophy Whitetail Bucks. Not only do we provide some of the best hunting opportunities found in Texas, but we also provide a great outdoors and wildlife photography opportunity for the non-hunters who want to come out and observe the animals in their natural environment.
The Winterhawk Ranch was established in 2001 and the name comes from the fact that the owners used to watch the hawks fly around the property. Whenever you visit the Winterhawk Ranch and you see a hawk flying above, that is a sign of good luck. Come give it a try!
Hunting
Whitetail Deer Hunting
At Winterhawk Outfitters Ranch, all hunts are booked on a first come, first served basis. In order to reserve your preferred dates, all hunting trips must be booked at least 30 days in advance if not earlier, our season books fast so schedule your trip to Winterhawk Outfitters Ranch as soon as possible.
Our standard Hunt Package is 4 days and 5 nights, and there may be no more than 4 persons in your party unless special arrangements are made at the time of booking.
Hunting Fees at Winterhawk Outfitters Ranch are pre-paid. In order for your trip to be booked we must receive a non-refundable 50% deposit for your group in advance. Reservations are only held for 15 days without being booked, so once you have spoken to us and your hunt dates have been reserved, be sure that we receive your payment within 15 days to confirm and book your hunt.
Our hunts are free-ranging whitetail deer hunting in Baylor County, Texas on the Winterhawk Ranch. The ranch is located 52 miles southwest of Wichita Falls and 160 miles north of Abilene, Texas near Seymour, Texas.

- Whitetail Deer $3,200 5 nights 4 days all inclusive (meals and lodging included). 1 guide and 2 Hunters.
- Whitetail Deer $2,500 to $3,200 based on situation/deals established in advance.
- Whitetail Deer $2,500 5 nights 4 days (lodging included, but no meals).
Rio Grande Turkey Hunting
The best Rio Grande Turkey hunting in the world is found in Texas. Winterhawk Outfitters offers you the chance to get that pure Rio Grande Turkey you have always wanted. There are no shortages of trophy Tom's on our properties.

Spring Turkey $650 for 4 nights, 3 Days semi guided hunt, 2 gobblers. All inclusive. (Extra Gobbler is $300.00)
Feral Hog Hunting
If you have never known the thrill of hunting Wild Boar, then you owe it to yourself to book a hunt with Winterhawk Outfitters. Wild hogs are hunted by stand, stalking, or with the aid of dogs. Either way, the hunt will provide you with the thrill of a lifetime. Wild hogs can be taken with pistol, bow, muzzleloader, or gun all year round.
Rates
Hunts start Friday Noon and Ends on Sunday noon. $300 Per Hunter (Minimum of 3). Includes Lodging But No Meals. Two Hogs Of Hunters Choice. Additional Hogs-$100 Each.
$1 per pound day hunts available.
Aoudad Hunting
The Aoudad (is also called the Barbary sheep sometimes), is an extremely hardy and intelligent exotic animal. It has the unique ability to retain water from the sparse Texas vegetation and survive long periods of time without water. This gives the Aoudad the ability to live in rouged habitats that are too harsh for other animals. The Aoudad seem to thrive in the roughest country they can find and possess an extraordinary sixth sense at detecting danger. These factors combined with the Aoudad's sense of smell, hearing and alertness to danger; make it a very challenging animal to hunt.

$300 for 3 day hunt + $1500 kill fee
Hunts are conducted November through March each year.
Duck Hunting
Winterhawk Outfitters will offer morning Texas duck hunts, when we feel that the conditions are capable of producing a quality migratory waterfowl hunt for our customers. You can at times come across all the ducks of Texas on our lush property water holes, but mallards definitely rule here!
If you want, you can follow up your morning North Texas duck hunt, with an afternoon hog hunt and try to find a trophy boar on our big Texas ranch.
