A Family Operation
KSK Big Game Outfitters is owned, managed and operated by the Kreycik family.
We have been in the hunting business since 1994 and growing each year. We are a family operated business that is run by Kenard, Chris and Steve Kreycik. The ranch has been in the family for at least 5 generations.
We've been shooting about 25+ bulls a year more recentely. Repeat clients and word of mouth is our very best form of advertsizng, and we know that that says something about the great experiences everyone has had here at our ranch. We do business with hunters that are close to home, as well as many across the nation.
Nebraska, Possibilities...Endless!
Our property lies along Niobrara River, which is one of the top ten rivers for canoeing and is extremely scenic. Just to the north of us (about 4 miles) is the Missouri River which seperates us from South Dakota.
Lewis and Clark traveled along the Missouri as they journeied west. Nearly all the tourists and hunters tell us that this is the most beautiful and scenic area in Nebraska. Some have even said they like it better then going to the Black Hills in South Dakota!
About Our Hunts
A 50% deposit is required to book a hunt, with the remaining balance due immediately after the hunt. One party of hunters at a time, scheduled as much as possible for hunter's convenience from September 1st to January 31st. Choice of elk and dates for hunting will be assigned in the order that the deposits are received. Food and lodging are provided for a two day hunt. Guide and Chef gratuity are not included in pricing.
All meals and lodging are provided on all elk and trophy buffalo hunts. You will be eating delicious home-cooked meals with the Kreycik family in the ranch house.
No illegal drugs are allowed. No alcohol or smoking. (During the hunt) All safety rules must be followed. Hunter assumes all risks and will be asked to sign a release of liability form before the hunt.
Our Guided Hunt is with weapons of your choice: archery, black powder .50 caliber or larger,as well as high power rifle .24 caliber or larger. A guide will determine the approximate scoring of the bull for the hunter. Hunters will hunt on foot. No vehicles are allowed except to haul out the animals. (Exceptions made for health reasons) Handicap hunts are available.

On the turkey side of things, a report came out that our turkey population has increased 500% in the last 10 years and is still doing well and growing. We have Hybred, Rio and a few Merriam turkeys. We also have connections on Osceola hunts where you can get a grand slam. Our turkey hunts have gotten such great reviews that we have had guys here hunting that have been all over the U.S. hunting turkeys and have said they have never seen as many turkeys in one place as they have seen here!
Our Beautiful Niobrara, NE Ranch Location
Our hunting area, headquartered at Kreycik Riverview Elk Ranch, consists of densely covered hills and canyons along the Niobrara River Valley in northeastern Nebraska. The nearest airports are Sioux City, IA; Sioux Falls, SD; and Omaha, NE.

As ranches increased in size to over 4,000 acres by the end of the 1900's, population steadily declined, with 1990 census counts lower than those of 1890. In some respects, the area is returning to its frontier phase as sparsely populated rangeland.
We have everything from rolling hills to trees, rivers and lakes along with a several kinds of wildlife. With rivers on both sides of us it makes it an extremely scenic area and makes for great hunting and fishing. There are a lot of duck, goose, deer, turkey and pheasant hunting in the area as well. We have a great pheasant shooting preserve 3 miles from us, so if you want, you can hunt elk and buffalo then go over and shoot pheasants all in the same hunting trip.
