Upper Stikine River Adventures is located in the Northern part of British Columbia and consists of 4,800 sq miles of virgin wilderness for our clients to hunt. Images of a vivid ,vast, and remote wilderness landscape are an integral part of the experience for those who choose to hunt with us. The Stikine River is named "The Great River" by the coastal Tlingit nation. It's name conjures images of wild rivers, jagged mountain peaks, pristine glaciers, and abundant wildlife. The Stikine has been described as a "Yosemite 100 miles long" as it flows from the Spatsizi Plateau and the Skeena Ranges, cradled in the spectacular beauty of the landscape, through the river's breathtaking "Grand Canyon" and isolation of the coastal mountains. The nearest road is 100 miles away, and its only access is by riverboat and float plane. This vast area is home to Stone sheep, Mt. Goat, Moose, Mt. Caribou, Grizzly, Wolf, Wolverine and untouched fishing. We provide horses back type hunts, riverboat hunts for moose and some back back hunt for Stone Sheep. We have accommodations for every hunters preference from our comfortable lodge with private bedrooms, hot and cold running natural spring water and delicious home cooked meals to cabins and wall tents with heaters and stoves that are scattered throughout the hunting area.
